To All Carnegie CC Members and Supporters,
It was our first BIG weekend of cricket last week and we finished up with some good results, a few disappointing results and plenty to work on for this season. Our junior teams performed particularly strongly and the first Girls Team game is next Wednesday. Below is a summary of results and this weeks games. Congrats to those who performed well and special mention to Mayank Srivistava on his hat trick in Sunday A.
Our first social function is the world famous Carnegie CC Trivia night on Sat 14 November. Lock it in your Calender now and bring some mates as it is a huge amount of fun. Pass on the attached flyer.
Our Milo in2CRICKET program kicks off on Sunday at 10AM so it will be great to see plenty of senior players helping out so the new parent coaches can be trained while the seniors look after the kids, so if you have some spare time Sunday morning please be at KP @ 9.30am.

THIS WEEK’S MATCHES
1st XI Highett v Carnegie Turner Road Reserve, Takkiar and Shah come in to the line up. Highett just coming up from winning the GF in South C1 the CCC lads will be looking for win number 1 for the year.
2nd XI Carnegie v Middle Park Koornang Park, Easton, A Morrissey and A Kotha into the side. The 2nds are actually playing against Middle Parks 1st XI so it should be a good test.
3rd XI Burnley CYMS v Carnegie Fawkner Park 4 (ex 6), expect parking trouble so get there early. The team will be without inspirational skipper Dave “The Model” Goodey this week but Ash has promised a win.
4th XI – 18th Oct Carnegie v Burnley CYMS Lord Reserve, this Game is on Sunday, we have asked for the sprinklers stay off this Saturday night to make the pitch nice and flat.
A Sunday Carnegie v Clayton District Koornang Park, first game at home this season and Ash id keen to notch up win 2 for the season.
B Sunday Glen Iris v Carnegie Eric Raven Reserve, looking for a fired up GC after getting plenty of attention from his mates at the Strikers.
