Past Players’ Day

The 2013 “Stockdale & Leggo Glen Huntly” Past Players’ Day will be held on Saturday 1st December at Koornang Park. The day kicks off at 3:30pm (or 7pm if solely attending for the dinner and guest speaker), and will wrap up around 11pm.

We are delighted to announce Simon Helmot as our guest speaker. Simon has played Premier Cricket and became coach of Hawthorn-Monash at age 25. Simon is currently the assistant coach of The Victorian Sheffield shield side, head coach of the Bushrangers, Victoria’s one day side and head coach of the 20/20 Melbourne Renegades. Simon is 40 years old and has achieved a lot in those years from a coaching point of view.

He will be interviewed by former ‘Negie captain and coach, Elliot Cartledge.

That day is the first week of a 1st XI match against Middle Park, so please show your support.

Don’t miss this great chance to reconnect with your cricket club and past team mates and take a journey down memory lane, courtesy of scorebooks, photos and memorabilia.
