Carnegie CC MCA A-Sunday Wins Premiership

Big news from the weekend, the MCA A Sunday side won a hard fought low scoring affair against the Melbourne Cobra’s @ Koornang Park. Carnegie finishing on top of the ladder and being the team to beat had to work hard for their premiership passing the Cobra’s with only 3 overs to go. Vinay Tripathi was man of the match. Well done boys!

Unfortunately the CCC U12’s got done in their 2 day grand final, chasing 213 runs on day two the task was just simply to big. We were bowled out for 95. Well done on your season boys.

Grand Finals Update For This Weekend 12th & 13th or March

A Sunday Team + Supporters Pic

The A-Sunday Grand final is this Sunday (one day GF) at Koornang Park from 11AM. They are playing the Melbourne Cobras, the same team they played on the major raffle draw day where some 540 runs were scored in the day. The BBQ will be running during the day and the kiosk/bar will be open. Come down and the cheer the lads on.

U12 With Official GF Team

The under 12 GF will be on down at Lords (Oval #3) from 8.45am till 11.15am on both Saturday and Sunday this weekend, members should be able to make it to both as the games are at home.

Covers on Image

Also with plenty of rain forecast for this week, we applied the covers last night (Wednesday) so if you are about to give the curator a hand that would be great. It’s not easy preparing a wicket that has the covers on 24/7.

Go Neggies and lets win some premierships!
